The current line of natural soaps includes Aloe vera and oatmeal. Aloe Vera comes as a transparent gel from the pulp of the meaty leaves of Aloe plant. Aloe vera has been used topically for thousands of years to treat wounds, skin infections, burns, and numerous other dermatologic conditions.
According to a popular medical website, there is promising preliminary support from laboratory studies that topical aloe gel has immunomodulatory – or immune system alteration - properties that may improve wound healing and skin inflammation. Early studies of Aloe vera also suggest its effectiveness for treating dandruff.
The other soap, comprised of oatmeal, is ideal for dry and sensitive skin, it restores moisture to the skin and reduces inflammation due to its mucilaginous properties. Oatmeal, when used as a skin cleanser, absorbs and removes surface dirt and impurities while providing very gentle exfoliation.
