Pimples are the most problematic skin problem among teenagers. But yes, you can treat your pimples at home.  You do not necessarily have to buy special creams and lotions with chemical compositions for treating your pimples. If you want to get rid of your pimples then you can follow some simple steps to keep breakouts at bay and treat pimples at home according to your needs and at your convenience.

First, make a daily habit of drinking lots of water. Water is a natural detoxifier and it will help to prevent the eruption of pimples on your skin. You must eat healthy diet, as much as possible – one that is rich in vitamins and minerals. Vitamin E and C are extremely good for your skin. You must wash your face twice daily. Some skincare treatments also recommend mixing salt with warm washing water as it helps to keep dust and dirt away from your skin and dry up pimples and breakouts. If you are a female, make sure that you remove your make up each night before you go to bed. Maintain a daily skin care routine of cleansing, toning and moisturizing so that your skin can maintain its natural glow even from the outside.

If you still face the problem of pimples then you can use a cucumber paste combined with rose water and lime juice for about 20 minutes. This helps to fight pimples to a great extent. Another great remedy is if you use a mixture of 1 teaspoon honey, ½ teaspoon tomato juice and camphor lotion (you can find this at any drugstore or in the health isle at some grocery stores). Use it on your face for around 15 minutes and then wash it off. Egg white and unripe papaya are also helpful items you can use from your kitchen for preventing the emergence of pimples. Another great, economicall and effective treatment for pimples is calamine lotion – the stuff you use on poison ivy and bug bites. So, save some money and get the best results for your skin right from home!
